Qmax
Introduction to the system

ACO Qmax is the first, award winning, continuous slot drainage system for high
capacity drainage and attenuation. The system can cater for a wide range of applications to any load class, whilst delivering an effective and economic surface water drainage solution.

Manufactured from recycled Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE), ACO Qmax has been developed to provide high hydraulic capacity and yet to be lightweight and robust to withstand the rigours of typical construction practice. The lightweight material makes ACO Qmax easy to handle and quick to install, and the hot-dipped galvanised rail and MDPE body ensure a long service life in excess of 25 years.image

ACO Qmax is available in a range of four channel sizes, 225mm, 350mm, 600mm and 900mm. The channels can be used independently or together with other sizes in the range to provide an effective drainage solution for a variety of catchment areas.

The unique patented inlet design provides a continuous pavement beam feature over the line of the channel, strengthening the pavement installation and minimising the need for reinforcement.

The larger ACO Qmax channels can also provide genuine attenuation solutions for SUDS applications by utilising the optional ACO Q-Brake flow control device. A lightweight inspection chamber is also available to provide fast and simple connectivity between any channel sizes within the range.

  • Anchors provided to securely fix the edge rail into the concrete surround
  • Easy connection between each channel. ACO Qmax 225 and 350 channel units plug together. ACO Qmax 600 and 900 channel units are connected by two wing nuts
  • Levelling feet – for ease of installation
  • ACO Qmax 600 and 900 channels – side inlet connections are easily accommodated through use of 1m long channel units
  • Two edge details available to suit any application
  • ACO Qmax 225 and 350 channels can be cut to length to suit application
  • All channels are fully certified and CE marked up to and including Load Class F 900 BS EN 1433:2002
